This uprated front brake assembly is designed for all Classic Mini models, suitable both for converting vehicles originally equipped with drum brakes and for upgrading or refurbishing existing disc‑brake setups. The system provides significantly improved braking performance through enhanced thermal capacity, increased hydraulic efficiency, and fully renewed front‑end hub and suspension components. Fully assembled and ready to fit.

System Components

• Billet Alloy 4‑Piston Calipers Fully assembled Wood & Pickett aluminium calipers, CNC‑machined from billet and finished in Springfield Grey. The 4‑pot configuration delivers improved clamping force, superior modulation, and reduced unsprung mass compared to OEM cast‑iron units.
• Vented and Grooved Brake Discs High‑performance discs engineered for efficient heat dissipation. Venting increases thermal stability during repeated heavy braking, while grooves assist in pad deglazing and gas evacuation for consistent friction performance.
• New Uprights (Swivel Hubs) Replacement uprights manufactured to OEM geometry, ensuring correct alignment and compatibility with the vented disc and caliper arrangement.
• Sealed Ball Joints Pre‑assembled, maintenance‑free ball joints providing improved durability and reduced service requirements.
• Timken Taper Roller Bearings High‑load‑capacity bearings offering precise hub rotation, increased longevity, and improved resistance to heat and contamination.
• CV Joints New constant‑velocity joints included to ensure full compatibility with the uprated hub and disc assembly.
• Steering Arms Replacement steering arms matched to the uprights for correct geometry and safe installation.
